Surface, look at the stats like the number of goals we scored last year, passes attempted and completed, number of long balls played, number of shots on-target, possession in the final third of the pitch...
We stood-out like a sore thumb as one hell of a fucking dull, depressing team to watch - because we were... In fact, we were the most dullard cunt team in the top-flight...
So far this season though; we've made huge improvements... Again, I don't know whether this is due to Allardyce having a cunt pointed against his head or Sheringham's involvement or whatever but the only thing that matters is that we are playing better football and we're also getting some good results...

We were the most fucking boring team in the league last year... The Opta stats proved that emphatically... The manager deserved heavy criticism for that...
We've played more expensive football this season already - but probably only because our manager was given an ultimatum to do so...
If it was up to Fat Sam; he'd still no doubt rather play Nolan feeding-off Carroll...
Still, I couldn't really care what is happening behind the scenes and on the training pitch and whom made our transfer signings this summer as the important thing is that we look like we're actually trying to play football now and things look promising, for now at least...
That's all I'm bothered about...

Considering the squad he took over was shot to pieces baring Noble & Tomkins he built a squad that got us promotion from a backbone of players who could do the job he required and whom he mainly worked with in the past. He then due to us being a newly promoted club struggled to straight away get in better quality/younger talent. On from there the club has shopped in the middleweight market where as many flops go for the same money as good talent plus there is plenty of competition for each player you show interest in and you can get easily picked off in that market should they choose by the more well established clubs like Everton & Spurs especially in the loan area.
I think Sam has wanted to say "have you seen some of the dross i have to pick from or the markets i have to buy new players from once the bigger clubs have had a chew at the carcus?"
but has instead played the arrogant cunt role due to some of our support still not seeing the massive restraints ANY West Ham manager has had to work within even before him.
West Ham's managerial role is not a classy one no matter what the ownership says, it could be in the near future but up until now it's been like being a cleaner in a pig sty. Therefore all 'classy' managers have given it a miss.

I highlighted Brentford's thread, you jumped on the bandwagon - it's very simple.
What you need to ask is whether Allardyce, at the end of last season, was told by the owners - "good work Sam, more of the same please".
Of course he fucking wasn't, he was, by all reliable accounts, told that he needed to improve the style of play. That is exactly what the majority have been crying out for.
Last two games we get that, and all were happy and rejoicing the fact.
Go back through this fucking thread and work it out for yourself mate because you're letting yourself down here and will end up being as tedious as Dapablo if you're not careful.

We a always thought he was a cunt at Bolton, Blackburn and Newcastle. We've never liked him or the teams we played when he was manager. It was always one of them 'imagine that cunt was our manager, i wouldnt even go'. THEN he joined and literally dismissed our history and style in his first fucking press conference. It was arrogant and 'be fucking greatful I'm here'.
